Vimian is proud to announce that it has recieved an upgraded ESG rating in the MSCI ESG Rating assessment to 'AA' (leader). This upgrade reflects Vimian's progress on the sustainability (ESG) agenda over the past years. Vimian’s sustainability strategy was adopted by the Board in March 2022 and Vimian was rated ‘BB’ (below average) by MSCI at the time.

Key Drivers of the ESG Upgrade:

  • Enhanced Governance – Board-level oversight of ethics, a fully independent chair, and enhanced compliance measures and 33% female board members, strengthening oversight and diversity.
  • Business Ethics & Compliance – Stronger audit processes and board-level oversight of ethics and compliance sets Vimian apart from global peers.
  • Product Quality & Safety – Industry-leading quality management practices and high standards across Specialty Pharma, MedTech, and Diagnostics segments.
  • Talent Development – Industry-aligned talent management practices, including performance appraisals and grievance reporting channels, support employee well-being.

"We are proud to have our ESG efforts recognized with an upgraded rating. This milestone is a testament to the team's hard work and sets the stage for our continued journey towards becoming a sustainable leader in animal health", says Ellen Broström, Group Sustainability Director at Vimian.
